RECENT RENDERS WE HAVE SEEN OF GALAXY S11 PLUS MIGHT BE WRONG.
Recently, @onleaks (from Twitter), a legendary leakster gave us high quality renders of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S11 Plus. And @onleaks does have an excellent track record of releasing highly accurate leaks. The renders (photos below) have given us a polarizing design on the rear. Looks like the S11 Plus might have a camera cluster much like the iPhone 11 Pro Max and Pixel 4 XL. Some people hate it, some people don’t care.
However, another legendary leakster @iceuniverse disputes that @onleaks’ renders are accurate (see his tweet below)
WHO IS RIGHT? ICE UNIVERSE OR ONLEAKS?
Now, either one of them could be right. We could have a bad camera design based on @onleaks leak or @iceuniverse might be correct meaning S11 might be more beautiful.
@iceuniverse had previously critized @onleaks on his Galaxy Note 10 leaks as well, yet @onleaks was %90 accurate. See the tweet below where iceuniverse claims onleaks’ renders was exaggerated, but in reality, as you can see from the renders, they were very accurate.
So, even though we aren’t sure exactly who is right, I think most people will be more satisfied if @iceuniverse was right, because some samsung fans have expressed concern over the iphone-like camera cluster on the rear. For now this is all we know, and will bring you updates as we get more information.
Ice didn’t say that onleaks was completely wrong about the Note 10. He said it was a bit exaggerated. That’s easily represented by being Abit 10% off the mark which is about right, and he was right about the chin being less pronounced in production.
So, I see zero discrepancy between what Ice claimed about onleaks prior to Note 10 release, and post release.
I think if Ice is now saying there is a huge difference in look between onleaks and what will be released, he is likely correct in his assessment.
He was criticizing a leak that was 95% accurate, which casts unnecessary doubt on the veracity of the leak.
So it means my Samsung Galaxy S8 plus is nothing more than a old brick. That I will not get “The New Android 10 and The New ONE UI 2.0”.
