After several months of only offering One UI 7 and Android 15 as beta updates for the Galaxy S24 Ultra, S24 Plus and S24, Samsung is finally preparing to roll out the stable version to more devices.

Currently, the Galaxy S25 series (along with a few new A-series models) are the only devices running the stable version of One UI 7 and Android 15. However, this will change in April. Samsung confirmed yesterday that “The official update for One UI 7 will begin in April.”

Android 15 was initially released by Google in September, meaning by the time April arrives, Samsung will be seven months behind the original launch. This is an unusual delay for Samsung, and we hope it’s a one-time slowdown due to the significant changes introduced with One UI 7.

In related news, Samsung also announced that the One UI 7 beta will expand to a wide range of new devices this month. More details on that can be found here.
